Bulldog Security launches UAS Service

Bulldog Security launched its Security Operations Aerial Research (SOAR) program with an unmanned aircraft system (UAS) unit aimed at assisting in overall situational awareness.   Bulldog Security presented SOAR at the 20th Defense & Sporting Arms Show held on July 22, 2012 in Megamall, Mandaluyong City. SOAR showcases Bulldog Security’s ability to provide a team skilled at operating  unmanned aircraft systems as a service.

SOAR was operational on May 2012 over an approximate area of 10 hectares in cloudy conditions with moderate winds.  Succeeding sorties have been flown including both daytime and night time flights.

SOAR is developed to:

1. Assist security in  providing patrols over a large area while consuming less time.

2. Crop Survey

3. Post Calamity Survey & Monitoring

4. Traffic/Road Survey & Monitoring

SOAR can also provide post-weather disturbance monitoring.

SOAR is a result of a partnership with the Emergency Research Center.
