Bulldog in Action: Responding to an Emergency

As we go about our daily life, how often are we given the chance to become a hero?

We have two such examples in our Bulldog family; they are Pederico Peren and Dandee de la Torre who are members of the Incident Responder and Support Team of one of the detachments.

During their officers outing last May 7, 2011 in Cavite, the body of a 10 year old girl was fished out of the water seeming lifeless and already blue. A seaman tried to revive the girl but our officers saw that he was going about it the wrong way. With every second counting, Pederico & Dandee promptly introduced themselves as emergency officers and took over. With Pederico administering resuscitating measures, Dandee controlled the mounting crowd of curious on-lookers. First set of compressions yielded no results but after the second set, his efforts were successful - they were able to revive the girl. She was immediately brought to the hospital for further treatment.

Because these stalwart officers were attentive, alert, fearless and accurate; because they used their knowledge and training, they saved a little girl`s life. They were her heroes.

•Must have no major violation for the last 2 years

•Males between 30-45 years, Females between 25-35 years

Bulldog Security is pleased to announce that Mr. Danny Siazon has successfully completed the Basic Occupational Safety and Health five day course held from July 5 to 9, 2010 by the Safety Organization of the Philippines (SOPI). Danny is one of Bulldog’s Safety Officers and is appreciated for his continuous commitment and contribution to Bulldog Security client’s Security and Safety needs. Danny has said, “Safety Assessment and Survey was one of the subjects taken up, and this is very much applicable with security.”

Group discussions and Practical Exercises at In-House Supervisory Training for 2010

Bulldog Security is committed to the professional security officer. Group discussion and interaction plays a focal point in development of our security professionals.

The ongoing monthly supervisory training held last January 9 and 16, 2010 was well attended. Officers contributed to lively discussions on presented cases. The next session is on March 11, 2010.

Fire Safety Awareness Training

Eighty percent of reported fires are controlled by proper use of a fire extinguisher. Best Practices and Procedures that help in Emergency response are discussed. Occupational Safety and Health Awareness (OSHA) Program

Bulldog Security launches and HIV Awareness Program in Partnership with the Order of Malta Philippines. Acquired Immuno Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) which is caused by the Human Immune Deficiency Virus (HIV) is contagious and fatal. Reports from the National Epidemiology Center (NEC) show that as of December 2009, there are an increasing number of confirmed HIV positive cases.
